Last week I posted a few photos of the latest Falcon Heavy rocket launch we watched to include the recovery of the Falcon Boosters. Here is a link to a YouTube Video that shows the entire launch, separation and booster reentry& landing. It was absolutely fascinating to watch the launch and reentry of these boosters, really cool stuff and great technology. Congrats to a great launch team. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

I heard this morning that they lost the core booster to rough seas (to far out to fly back to KSC, which usually means a barge landing, or wet landing), don't know if recoverable, or if it sank, news story was pretty thin on details. I think my son-in-law was to be the crane operator when it came back to shore, I'll have to see what he knows about it so far.

Thanks Mikey for the update, the landing looked great, guess it wasn't secured fast enough.

Be interesting to see a full report. Shame, it did fall off the drone barge (some sort of new "hold down arms" are not in place yet, so ...), Musk thinks they can save the engines, so maybe not a total loss.

Either way is was fascinating to watch the boosters return both to the Cape & the "Of Course I still Love You Barge", a great job by the launch/recovery team.
