I remember when he won his first Masters Tournament in 1997, when he hugged his late father. How fitting it was this time, when he embraced his kids, his girlfriend. And, that great hug, he received from his mother, was as emotional, as he received from his father in 1997. Congratulations Tiger. I thought your Golf Game was over. You proved me wrong. Win another PGA Tournament, to prove this one was not a fluke. I'll be rooting for you.

At least this time the headlines won’t read “Tiger Finishes 36th."

Tiger had a couple of things going for him; the crowd, and his course knowledge. The tee shot on 16 was clearly the capper.

If the field wants to win at Augusta, they better learn how to putt. Don't know how many birdies were wasted by them not making putts from 10 feet and closer.

He is an inspiration to us all, but more so to me right now. I just put my golf game and photography hobby on hold for bone fusion surgery on my back. I am now almost 2 weeks into my recovery period. Of course, bones heal and fuse faster at his age than at 75.

I’m not a big Tiger fan but what he’s accomplished is amazing, probably the greatest comeback story in sports history.

With all due respect, Dannj, it was probably not the greatest comeback in sports history or in golf. I was thrilled for Tiger, but in my opinion, his 5th win at the Masters does not even come close to Ben Hogan's 1950 miracle US Open win at Merion. There was even a movie about Hogan's life and comeback after a head on collision with a bus. (the movie was "Follow the Sun" with Glenn Ford playing Hogan)
Here's the story: https://www.golf-monthly.co.uk/features/the-game/ben-hogan-golfs-greatest-comeback-85672

Nice to meet you, Mr. Perfect. Tiger Woods is just as human as you and I. We are all sinners, and everyone deserves a shot at redemption.

Absolutely!!
And, his father modeled those exact types of behaviors. Tiger imitated those behaviors. His father was his mentor and hero.
