It was put into clean energy jobs. Also into welfare for Missouri farmers. You know, to grow corn that goes into ethanol that we do not need since we are a petroleum exporter not importer. Can’t get away from it because farmers cannot quit feeding on the government teat.

Very few of the so-called jobs actually materialized. More lies from Obama. Shovel-ready jobs are not welfare for Missouri farmers. Ethanol subsidies are not welfare. You need to read a recent Obama history lesson and a basic civics book. You obviously know not what you speak.

What the heck is it if not welfare. You Repubs think welfare only goes to poor folk. Paying someone to grow a crop that is not needed is public welfare.

You obviously do not know the difference so until you take a course in high-school civics, there is no point in discussing this with you.

So you admit to being wrong, just unable to answer the question. No blame, I had no expectations from you.

What did I admit? What question was asked? Can you not read? You are either unbelievably stupid or unbelievably arrogant. In either case you try to deflect when you have no logical response to support your view. I would say you were a typical left-wing wackos but that would be disparaging their good name. You are a class by yourself. I have had enough of your moronic babbling so good night. I eagerly await for your tomorrow's gibberish.

President Trump may indeed not be solely responsible for my local economic upturn, but under Obama we saw a rapid and steady decline, and this continued until about 90 days into the Trump administration when things began to improve. This improvement continues today, and after 8 years of steady decline it is hard to credit the Obama administration with anything other than a failure concerning our local economy.

"eight years of steady decline"

We are talking about USA not Venezuela.

8 years of consistent quarter on quarter GDP growth does not t***slate to 8 years of steady decline.

It was tepid growth, but it was rather remarkably consistent over that time. Tepid has shifted gears since Trump took office...but he has not reversed any decline.

Obakapig stated “Well, I guess those jobs weren’t shovel ready”

Except for Obakapig Care.

I think you mean that Obama did not artificially keep dirty coal jobs alive. How many actual coal jobs do you think there are. How many potential clean energy jobs should there be. There would be steel jobs available if Trump and the republicans cared about infrastructure. But nothing for two years. Dems are finagling another infrastructure bill but Trump will probably veto.

And why, t*****r boy, would you say that? Obama did artificially keep the f**e money being printed so as to show that our economy was doing well when it really was not. I don't think Trump is changing the economy artificially as Obama did by printing money. With Trump what you see is what you get. I see more jobs available even for minorities. Obama did absolutely nothing for minorities while he was POTUS. So now you come along and tell us that it is really Obama who is somehow, now, providing jobs for minorities, b****s to be specific. Hell, you really should take that comedy show on the road. You will get millions of laughs out of that one comment alone. Call Trump what you will but at present there are people working in the steel and coal industry aren't there? Oil production is up isn't it. America is now self sufficient with regards to natural resources isn't it?

I will be right here t*****r boy waiting for your answers to the above questions.

As I recall Trump tried to do something about infrastructure but Democrats said the magic word, NO.

Am I mistaken or is it Congress rather than the President who allocates money and makes laws. Why hasn't Congress allocated money for infrastructure? You can blame Trump all you want but since the day of his e******n he is the only one who seems to want to get things done. It is Congress who is sitting on their collective asses doing absolutely nothing; and that is from both sides. Comprehensive immigration reform is needed but neither party will do a F'n thing about it. Infrastructure is needed but neither party will do a F'n thing about it. What exactly is it you want Trump to do. He doesn't make laws and he sure as hell does not allocate money for projects.

All this blame for President Trump and apparently none to go around for Congress who is really responsible for getting things done.

I am still right here waiting for your answer(s).

I could be mistaken but wasn't it Obama himself who made a comment once that the shovel ready jobs he promised ended up not really being there at all? Wasn't it a typical Obama moment of, Yuck, yuck, yuck, I thought I was doing something but it didn't work out. And the Democrats laughed, and laughed and laughed. Just one more Obama program that wasn't worth a s**t.

Obakapig fixed everything already. Extra Trillion a year for shovel ready jobs. Infrastructure Remember? Nothing went to shovel ready work. Nothing. Where did our money go?? Obakapig Care buried lots of grandmas it seems.

Most Conservatives I know are absolutely against government subsidies of any kind. Personally I wish the government would have no subsidies at all. This is not an all Conservative problem so you need to throw a few million Democrats in there as well.
