With Congress as Dysfunctional as it has Become, Could it be Time for a Third Political Party?

Congress will accomplish next to nothing over the next few years and until the filibuster is k**led in the Senate we may be moving into an era where nothing gets accomplished for many years to come.

Could it be time for moderates of both parties to come together to form a third party? All it would take would be 33% of our current legislators to declare independence from their current party affiliation.

I would certainly support it, providing that the third party is an ultra right-wing party.

The RINOs need to organize the silent, sound conservatives of old to take their party back from the hyenas and the God botherers.

LOL Frank, it would have to be a centrist party if we would really like to achieve a functional government that works for all the people. But your comment speaks to how the left is only concerned with power and control.

We have third parties and often have dysfunctional coalition governments. In the last decade we've had more PMs than people can count.

We just kicked off a national e******n with all the greasy campaigning that goes with it. The good news is they only last for about 2 months.
