Inspired by Jim-Pops, I used my Sigma 10-20 Zoom on this ceiling fan. I had the fan blade moving very slow during the shot. Since the zoom is shallow the wasn't a great amount of zoom movement.
Once done I went into PS, and did a multiply color gradient fill. I used the radical feature in the gradient at 671% scale. This helped to even out the color banding.
This would make a fun challenge: inviting people to guess what it is. Mine would have been, "the center of a flower!"

Well too bad I didn't think of that. There would definitely have been no mention of a ceiling fan in my intro.
