What an incredible, breathtaking experience! And this is only day 1, right? The light in your two scenic shots is marvelous.
Yes Linda I believe day 1 is right. I think I am getting too old for 4.15am starts!! The early morning and evening light was stunning. Back home trying to catch up with sleep and the jet lag. Always pleased to read your kind comments, thank you very much for looking in.
After cancelled flights and new ones booked, missed connections I eventually arrived in India! A four hour drive to reach the Tuli Tiger Accommodation in Pench, in the middle of nowhere in the dark, the car had a puncture! Arrived tired and weary at midnight, ready for the wake up call at 4.15am. Temperatures in the mid 40c (111f), high humidity with dusty and hazy days. Ten minutes into the first game drive the vehicle had a puncture, then another one 40 minutes later. Some of the shots are heavily cropped, the 400 lens did its best but some of the tigers were a long way away.
Hope you enjoy the set, the evening light was beautiful.

Sylvia, the DDLs are awesome and the set of photos is the same.
You and your hubby sure do get around this planet to locations most people would love to get to. You are also a fantastic model of what camera and lenses a persone needs to enjoy a trip like this one. Whenever a member of UHH asks what to get we should refer them to your posted photos. You use two basic lenses and the photos are always great, at least that is the way I feel.
