I am keeping her, ended up buying a lens with a shorter focal length than I had planned on but saved a lot of money in doing so, so baby gets to stay home with me!

Are you getting the 500mm mark II or going for the 600mm lens?
I have this lens already so I know what it's capable of and I'm still not ready to get rid of mine. I used it the other day and it still is the love of my life. But I find that the more sporty 100-400 Mark II goes on more hikes with me than my heavy 500mm lens. But that 500 is still king when is comes to picture quality.
