Please make your topic titles more explicit.
Topic titles like "F 2.8" or "FX Lens " don't help anyone pick out the topics to look at . And please put the make of camera you are using . Its so frustrating and seems to be a feature of this site.

And you are not the first person to make this plea. Possibly will not be the last either.

Frustrations are a fact of this site. Lots of newbies are not familiar with your rules, therefore they don't know how to ask specific questions. If you don't like or don't understand the topic or question please feel free to bypass it to the next one that suits your sensitivities.

I don't think it's a matter of "sensitivities", David. I think the OP raises a valid issue and his suggestion would improve the UHH experience for all.
The UHH search function is based on words in the title. So a topic with the title "Help!" would never come up in a search no matter how interesting or significant the topic might be....
Also, from a practical standpoint, a clear, descriptive title can get a question poser better and faster answers.

Absolutely! And then ask a real question, not just "what do you think of this lens?" Something more like "What do you think of this lens for shooting birds in flight at dawn and/or dusk on a XXXXX body?" I hate questions where I am asked about a photographic tool but not told what they want to do with it. It is like asking "Should I buy a pall peen hammer?" without mentioning that what they plan to do is frame a house. A ball peen is an awesome hammer, but you need a framing hammer for this job.
Which brings up another issue. People who complain whne a reply does not answer the question in the OP. Sometimes the reply has to reach beyond when the OP was not well stated.
I do believe there are no stupid questions, but there are poorly thought out questions. As an analyst, I have come to understand that good answers are pretty easy, but good questions are really, really hard. But a lot of problems with a poorly thought out question can be solved by providing a little context. People with experience in any field can figure out the real issue when context is provided.

Yea, I open a lot of questions only to find that I cannot assist because I'm not well versed in the question at hand.
"How do I ..." - how about putting the rest of the question or subject in the title?
And, it will never change.......
I think there's some windmills over there ....

One of the rules covers this:
- Try to use descriptive titles when creating new topics. Instead of something like "Please Help", write a title that briefly states the nature of your post. That way, people who know the answer or are interested in that particular topic would be more likely to click on it to read it and post replies.

This comes up all the time. While the intent is good, most likely it won't change anything. Just like you can't stop people from posting images in this section.
But we must also remember that this is not a Q&A section, it is a discussion section. Maybe somebody just wants to discuss F/2.8. When you see a thread where a question is asked and answered within the first few responses, yet goes on for 5, 10, 15 pages and more, it is obvious that more people want to 'talk' rather than 'listen'.
Maybe Q&A and Discussion should be two separate sections. There must be room for at least one more.

The title "F2.8" made me feel like the poster wants a bragging contest.
