My Challange was to change the background.
My original photo was shot with intended white background. I recently wanted to make it soft as you see here. I had to do a lot of work with her hair to keep it from having a white fringe area.
You’ve made a pretty perfect job of that Jim. Impressive.
"...I had to do a lot of work with her hair to keep it from having a white fringe area..."
Flyaway hair? my solution: CHI Silk Infusion (from a VOGUE NYC hair stylist who I collaborate with frequently)
Need shine? Kenra Platinum Silkening Mist (I use this on nearly every shoot for both genders)
Want to hold in place? Kenra Volume Spray Super Hold 25 (epic... simply epic)
Best Advice? Until you learn how to style hair on set always have a hair stylist on your team.... word!
btw trying to style hair without appropriate product is virtually impossible...
Experience is a brutal teacher...
All the best on your journey Jim-Pops... thank you for sharing...
You did a great job on it Jim...
Nice job Jim, and a beautiful portrait of a very pretty woman.
Thank you magnetoman and Jaymatt.
Thanks for your tips Thomas. I photograph for fun while striving to improve my abilities by reading articles related to my weakest areas. Your information is always welcome. I will look for your suggested hair products and try them on my next model shoot.

The best way i found for such issues are to use a neutral grey background instead of a high contrast color like white or black.
Try pulling out the toy image out of the sample image below.
Hope this helps with your future shoots.
