Vero Beach Wetlands

Took a walk along the dikes of the Vero Beach wetlands early yesterday morning to see what was happening now that the weather is really warming up. All migratory birds and ducks have departed and the usual standby's were the only ones out and about....still a good walk anyway and loved sitting and watching the otter family having a good time. There are about 2-3 otter families living in the wetlands and see them quite often.

headed to Middletons Fish Camp / Blue Cypress Lake at end of April; any particular tips ?

Gotta love those otters. Bet they were fun to watch. Very nice series and the Green Heron is especially good.

Only been to Blue Cypress a couple of times Ed, excellent place if you have a boat, not much access anywhere. Although I've seem some beautiful and stunning photos of the lake and shoreline, most likely taken from a boat. Sorry I couldn't be of better assistance.
