This system mainly consists of any photographic light source- an electronic flash monolight with a modeling light, a LED source or an continuous incandescent lamp in a soft box. The background is a tabletop cyclorama made of seamless paper or, in this case a plastic background sheet with a sprayed on graduated background color.

The lighting unit is suspend over the product on a boom stand or alternatively, another rig can be improvised. It is overhead and slightly to the back of the item. To fill in the shadow areas a "silver" reflector or two are placed to the front of the item. The overhead light is tilted forward so that the edge of it beam strikes the reflector so they can return some light to the subject.

It is importat that you can see exactly what the light is doing so you can evenly light the item and make sure the reflectors are picking up enough light and functioning properly .

The member requestig this information wants to photograph their leather crafted products made of leathers, cloth with some metal findings and decorations. This lighting renders goo detail and texture in theses fabrics and leathers and works will will highly polished metals a well.
