I love the beauty of sunsets and sun rise. I could care less if peeps think they are trite. No two are the same and the peeps that complain about sun sets and sun rises probably have never captured one they are proud of. Those that can, do and those who can't try to make those that can feel bad about what they so very well. Classic displacement psychology.

Sunrise and sunset images are not trite. How many do people really get to view in a lifetime? Not very many when you think about it I love viewing them and the colors they can produce. A Sunrise/sunset image with a interesting landscape is what landscape photographers hope for.

Not trite, love the colors.

Glad you didn't; a beautiful sunset. The two clouds in the upper right corner look very much like a left hand, rotated palm up, hold a dish-most unusual.

I actually had an instructor get up in class some 40 years ago to say... "I don't want to see any more photographs of sunsets - You can go out any day of the year and take a picture of a sunset!" I remember those words clearly as they came after the class had been moved over a shot I had just presented. The problem is, sunsets like the one you took don't come along often... and they aren't "trite" Please remove that thought from your mind.
