How very true, since every veteran has signed a blank check payable in any amount, up to and including their life, in service to this country and its people.

No hard feelings for draft dodgers on my part, Vietnam was the correct war to dodge. 'Draft Dodger' is only a big deal to the types drawn to Trump. How does that work?

In that case "Thanks for your service". I don't have any animosity towards those who fought the system, won, and didn't go to Vietnam. I do have a problem with amnesty being given to those who just ran off to places like Canada. I feel they made their choice when they ran off and should not have been allowed back home. Sorry but I still feel that way. Then when I think about it I wouldn't have wanted them covering my back so maybe it was just as well they ran off.
