I had a G! when they first came out. I sent it plus my camera body to Tamron and had then adjust to the 600mm end where I used it most. It was sharp enough after that. So this would be a bargain for someone hoping for a longer lens on a budget.

It would break my heart to sell MY 150-600 for this price. I paid over a thousand bucks for it a few years ago. that being said this is an outstanding price for a great lens.

Do you have the 1st release of the newer G2 series ?
I think I paid around $1200 for the G2 and that included a gimbal also.
