Blurryeyed Loc: NC Mountains.

Spent a little time down by the river this morning, I was really trying to evaluate a new to me old lens, a Canon nFD 300mm f/4 on a Fuji X-T2. All the pelican shots were taken with the old Canon lens with the exception of the two pelicans on the pilings which was taken with a Takumar 200mm f/3.5. The small Tri-Color Heron was shot with a Canon 100-400 II on a 5DSR.

Thanks everyone, as you can see I am a big fan of old glass, I started collecting almost by mistake, I was looking for a cheap alternative for a fast 50mm f/1.4 lens and after buying an old Pentax I just fell in love with old glass. For those who say ground glass is incapable of great images I would simply say take a good look at these images. I have three of the Canon "white" lenses between 300mm and 500mm but that does not stop me from enjoying these wonderful lenses of yesteryear.
