I wanted to give stacking a try and it works great in Photoshop. I am posting some of the layers showing what PSCC choose to use. Thanks for looking.

Pretty interesting. Some of the individual images make some nice modern art presentations.

I like starting in LR, selecting the pictures and LR does the heavy lifting of creating all the layers in PS for you and the blended pic comes back. :)

I was never able to pull focus stacking off until I got a Nikon D850, which does it automatically.

I shot this with the D850 but do not have a “af-s” lens. Looking forward to get one and using the feature. I think PS does a great job with out buying deadicated software.

Thank you for the Tutorial ....wow....I had no idea how involved this could actually be and I now see a little better and will look into the process more intently.

It definitely makes a difference and the DEVIL is Definitely in the Details .

Photoshop does a marvelous job in auto stacking images.
