Hiked into this remote Bald Eagle's nest today. Thought it strange that the female wasn't in the nest, as usual, sitting on her eggs which she laid this past Saturday.
The male (pictured) flew into the nest, dropped off lunch for the Mrs., popped his head over the edge, gave me a stern look, and then flew out. Spent several hours waiting for the female to fly in and get lunch, but she never showed. After getting home and viewing the images .... Ha, there she was! She was in the nest the whole time. Can you spot her?
Good one! I don't see more than an eye!

Very good picture! She is to our right, in front of the big tree trunk on his immediate left.

Yup...can only see the eye.
Same here, can only see her eye and it didn't take long to find it.
FINALLY.....I saw the EYE and that's it.......impossible otherwise.....wow. Nice observation.
I see an eyeball peeping out behind that tree branch, very good capture, Bill.
