Yes I realize some of you will not like the natural setting due to distractions but I prefer them. Please let me know exactly what you think and how you feel I can improve my photography please and thank you. Edited and cropped in Topaz, still trying to figure out the software.

You want to improve what? It doesn’t get any better than this. Thanks for sharing it.

I was going to say that maybe the sky was too intense, and that maybe that many branches were making themselves a subject subtracting from the bird.
Then I opened the download one......nothing to say more than congrats :)

Not quite sure what you are trying to accomplish here. As far as sharpness, color saturation, etc., the image is very well done. That's the good news. As far as bird photography goes, here are a few suggestions: I'm not particularly fond of the main subject right smack dab in the middle of the frame; I also prefer to be a bit more at eye level if at all possible, and I think you need to be a bit closer. Seems like there is enough detail the you could crop for closeness and composition. Regarding the elevation issue, you just need to wait for the bird to come down out of the tree, if she does, before she flies away. You asked!

Natural environment is the only way to go in my world. So this is lovely. The branches are not distracting to me. The bird is nicely placed. It's the "normal" view of a bird, so the looking up perspective fits. The image is sharp and the brilliant blue is the sky is a wonderful backdrop. All in all, it's a really nice image and one you can be proud of.

Good focus. Smack in the middle. The image could be helped with the rule of 3rds. Cropped a little closer and maybe a slight vignette. 73

Very sharp, well exposed and focused. You even got the little highlight in her eye. I'd have to say it's technically perfect. I'd not be a fan of a vignette for this pic. The simple composition obviates the need for it in my opinion. I don't know what the rest of the frame looks like, but if you have the room, off-centering the subject to the right a bit would add impact to the shot. In any case, congratulations on a great capture. Those little buggers don't stay still long enough for you to fiddle much with your camera.

Lovely clear shot. Nice angle with the light. It takes some patience to wait for a bird to turn it's head so you get the catch light, and it's not easy to get a blue sky with a properly exposed bird.
