...due to some personal issues. Sudden job loss meant a total overhaul which was not easy. Now relocated to Charlotte, NC due to job.

It feels great to be back. In fact, I never left the forum. It is just that I was an active 'lurker' and not a 'poster' !

Still exploring Charlotte. Certainly a big difference is weather as compared to Austin, TX. No more house and garden. All gone now. Apartment life is another change. Seasonal changes are more pronounced in this part of the country. Below are some shots as the spring starts here.

Hope you like them !

Welcome back, Sundar. I, too have been in a position to search for a new job. It was after 22 years on the job and the plant shut its doors. I was bitter for about 3 yrs. Eventually I found a position and lasted 10 yrs and then had to go. Company had to cut back on positions severely and again, I had to go. All is well now and I've been happily retired for 7 years.
Your pics are great.

Nice shots. I lived in Charlotte (Matthews), NC for 20 years before being transferred to Nashville with my company. We loved every minute of our time in Charlotte. My son still lives there. It is a wonderful diverse city that I believe you will learn to love. Also it is just a little over 3 hours to the Myrtle Beach area making it ideal for a weekend get-away to the beach.
