Spring has arrived ... in VT?
Well, not exactly. In a recent post by John_from_gpwmi entitled "Spring has arrived", John shared some shots showing Spring has in fact come to MI. It got me thinking, because we also have had some signs of Spring ... a few warmer days ... the beginning of Mud Season ... but then I woke up this morning wondering if it had only been a dream!!!! It's snowed for the last 24 hours ... I'd guess for a total of 10 - 12 inches ... & I think Spring is stuck in MI!!

A wider angle view of the wood pile ... & snow plowed out of the driveway

A view out my bedroom slider ... of snow that has come off the roof (up to the 2nd story)

View from my kitchen table ... yes, completely covered in snow ...

View out the back door ... guess we're not going out that way ... just yet

And my Australian Shepherd "Gem" who is ready to move to MI where Spring really is coming!!!!!

Good photographs, however that is misery.
...Frank...I think your dog needs to be in therapy...he looks depressed with all that snow around...even his blue toy looks like it’s not enough to make him happy...too bad he doesn’t snowboard...spring snowboarding is the bomb...fresh powder, warm sun, and rolled up sleeves... by the way...it looks like your living the dream...beautiful property...great stone fireplace...is that a log cabin your in...?
RichardTaylor ... I will admit that winter is getting a bit old & I'm ready for Spring, but it comes with the territory. We don't have the beautiful weather you have in your part of the world. Thanks for the comment.
SkyKing ... yes, I think sadly, my Aussey is looking for some therapy ... she loves the snow ... but this has exceeded even her comfort level. But she's full of spunk & after reading your email, she started hounding me about getting her a snowboard!!!! Thanks for that ... she's very determined to get her way. ;) And yes, I do live in a log house in a beautiful part of the country ... albeit a bit snow bound at the moment. Thanks for commenting.
...Frank...there is no such thing as bad weather...it’s all weather...good luck digging your way out...!
My crew sends Gem their condolences.
SkyKing ... thanks for the good wishes .. Gem is still looking online for a snowboard ... thank you for that!!! ;)
UTMike ... tell your crew that Gem thanks them for the kind thoughts ... I imagine you've had some of this weather as well out your way.

We have had such weather and my crew is happy that it is gone because today is a walk day.
My Mutt has to hop in this stuff ... but she loves to leap into it & finds it all to be great fun. Enjoy your walk ... they're great companions. I got Gem 2 days after I retired & she's spent the last 3 years trying to convince me she's the alpha dog around here!!!!
I could dig on seeing a winter like (1) that in the country like that. Its been a while down here. Maybe 2010 for the last real snow.

Great photos. Reminds me a LOT of why we relocated from Maine to Florida. Yesterday was 78 degrees as we took a walk in the wetlands.
Beautiful, pup.... that would freak me out having snow blocking my windows and door. I’d would be shoveling it away. Safe escape is always very important. I had a uncle who was a safety inspector for the fire department.
yssirk123 ... I have thought about that from time to time ... but hey, you do what you know!!!!
sb ... thanks for the positive feedback ... but I have to tell you ... that was cold!!!! Ouch!!!! I've forgotten what 78 degrees feels like!!!! You might just convince me to come visit you at this point!!!! But it's sunny today ... I'm hoping the flamingos will start to arrive here ... oh wait, they're plastic & put away for the winter. ;)
crafterwantabe ... thank you for the feedback ... & yes, she's a wonderful dog. And I hear you ... but there's no shoveling this snow ... however there are egress routes on 3 sides of the building, so I am comfortable I'd get out if there was trouble. But appreciate the thoughts.
Very good series, Frank, I love your shot of Gem.
