What a silly article. How many of us grew up without them and played with other children who had measles, chicken pox and others? When did people become such wusses? It never was a big deal.

A parent who does not have their child v*****es should be held for civil or crimmal action that cause other people to be sick because their child is not v*****es. The child should be not be able to go to school or any sport vent. Parents are should held for put a child in danger for not having a child v*****es. No reason for not having a child v*****es is ok.

"..Although you have a right to your own body, your choice to willfully be sick ends where another’s right to be healthy begins.."

Tell me, how would a person who is not v******ted and contracts measles be a risk for those that are v******ted against measles? It's extremely rare for one to contract measles when you are v******ted.

The very fact that person contracts measles, tell you that person was put in danger or allow themselves to be put in danger. Being having measles put other people not v******ted in danger. This whole anti-v******ted idea came from a quack doctor in England, who was turn down trying to sell his v******ted 20 years ago or so.

No that's not where the idea came from.

And why all of a sudden are people so afraid of measles when everyone used to get them? Where did THAT idea come from? Seriously, why are people such pansies about it now? The more v*****es the weaker the i****e s****m so in effect you're harming future generations.

Those are all far more serious than measles and chicken pox which I and millions of others have had along with mumps and rubella.

The question remains. Why are minor childhood diseases now so scary?

That doesn't answer my question. The article was about this country. Its crazy that so many people are afraid of minor childhood diseases when the flu k**ls more.

How about instead of providing big pharma with yet another cash cow we instead address malnutrition in third world countries?

"The risk of death among those infected is about 0.2%,[5] but may be up to 10% in people with malnutrition."

You simply do not know what you are talking about. It's not just measels that parents refuse faccinations. It's aLL rhe v******tions. Polio included. V*****es no not weaken the i****e s****m. They build immunity to contageous diseases. They strenghten the i****e s****m.

In the short term they don't.

I don't know anyone who wants to refuse v******tions other than measles, chicken pox and mumps. Those are the ones I've been addressing.

German measles is bad news for a women with child. Chicken pox and mumps can cause problems for a child now and later in life. Do you want to take that chance with your child. I don't.
