Mine is the little known North Fork of the Yuba River in Northern California. No finer Trout stream, ever soaked my lure. Slide from 1965.

My favorite river is anyone that has a lot of game fish in it and I happen to have my rod & reel. BTW, was that your car in the avatar?

Yes, that was my 1933 ford five window with a rumble seat and roll down rear window.

Looks like a nice fishing hole too. Saco river in Maine is a great relaxing escape from reality but the Allagash river white water runs are an adrenaline junkies dream. Especially in an open canoe (not kayak). My photos (if any survived) are in storage or I would share. Downsizing from 2000 sq ft to 850 has challenges. Hope you get to visit your fishing hole often.

I looked at the area in the photo on google maps and was saddened to find that the stretch of the river I loved is now part of Bullards Bar Reservoir. Happy to have the photo though.

Ok, Mighty Hudson would have to be my favorite, don't sk me to pick between the Upper Hudson (Above Glens Falls)and the Lower (below), BTW for fishermen I'm told that at one light house you can actually catch all three kinds of bass from the same spot, Smallmouth, Largemouth and Stripers!, Bob.

My favorite was Hat Creek on the wild stretch. Flies only, catch and release, containing the smartest trout in California--maybe the world.

My Daddy used to say that only bad fishermen claim that fish are smart.
