Raining today, so no playing outside for me today. So in honor of the rain I thought I would play with a little water.

Thanks Linda, I went into PS using the screen blending tool to "whiten" it a bit. I wanted the water on the surface to kind of add to the mood. I also used that shaped glass (beer glass) to get the maximum splash from the strawberry.

You’ve certainly achieved ‘wet’ Frank. My personal preference would be for some dark colours and low light, but that would give another feel altogether. I reckon you’ve achieved exactly what you set out to get. Well done!

I would have gone the other way and opted for a dark background. Each to their own.

Well it was a fun shoot. There are endless ways this shot could have been done. The only limitations are a persons imagination. Thanks for stopping by.

I like this a lot and mess it made makes it win win!! I might try to remove the splash that is obscuring the strawberry. I want to reach into the photo and just turn the glass a bit. lol

I too liked the pooling of the water that the strawberry caused. It was a fun shoot. A little messy but still fun.
