Composite of 9 images shot with Nikon D850 and Tamron 70-200 at 100 Mil. Merged, cropped and exposure adjusted, finished in Photoshop with Topaz Adjust to bring out the sky colors.

This image is HUGE. In PS, with 3 layers, size was 2.6 Gb, flattening layers "reduced" to 1 Gb.

Really like it. It's amazing, one of those pictures that makes me a little bit jealous, I would love to take something like that. Some day.
Did you use a tripod for this? Which type of head?

I used a RRS TVC Travel Tripod with the BH-40 Ball Head. I did not want to carry my full size tripod and gear drive head across the 1 mile of dunes to the location. The smaller tripod straps to the side of the Mindshift backpack and makes for an easier carry.

And Juan, you can do it. You just have to get out there and try.

Gorgeous! I am happy that I have a large enough monitor to spread this across the screen.

rgrenaderphoto do you have the pano bar it eliminates lens parallax. It keeps the frames in alignment as you rotate the lens.

Like every new Panorama photographer, I used a Parallax Bar, and religiously calibrated for each lens. Then I realized that unless there are hard vertical or horizontal lines in the image, it really made no difference.

What really made a major difference was a Leveling Base underneath my Ball Head. Far easier to level a tripod with a leveling base vs. adjusting tripod legs. And, once you have a stable and level platform, a panorama is very easy.

It really helps with any lines and stops the ghosting in trees. The leveling base stays on my tripod.
