First, thank you again Linda, Donna, Earl, Sue and Johnny for your helpful suggestions. I believe I've incorporated all in the following set and do like it better. I'll show the original and and then three with the modifications.

The camera has a mode called "Gentle Sepia" used here. It cannot be used with Keystone Correction so I'll have to do in PP. I do like it and it fits the time period of the subject.

Definitely like the sepia - I was going to suggest converting to sepia until I read your full post. Very nice work!

John, here's my interpretation of the original color version. There is lot of luminosity masking and adjustments, as well as selective burning and dodging. Finally, an overall vignette centered on the light. Then for the final touch, I gave it a very light sepia toning.
