Shots from last summer. The first 4 were of a pair of eagles who hatched 3 chicks but lost 2 early on. The 1st shot is of an adult coming back to the nest. They successfully raised 1 chick & the 2nd, 3rd & 4th shots were taken shortly after the Adolescent Eagle had left the nest. The adults watched over it, alternately hunting & bringing food back to feed it. Those 4 shots were taken from a kayak when the Eagles flew in & landed in the trees over my head, as I sat there quietly.
The last shot was taken from a boat of Seals sunning themselves on Boon Island, Maine, a few miles off the York Coast.
