The trail head on UT279 leads to an amazing sandstone arch surrounded by red cliffs. You can rest in the shade under the arch while taking in views of the natural setting. The town of Moab is due east across the Colorado River.

As Far as flying a plane thru - it’s been done many times in years gone by, but there are just to many people around and social media to report it. AND that it real bad news for any pilot today.
