Picture made from the Clinton Presidential Park Bridge, an old railroad (Rock Island) bridge that was converted to a trail crossing over the Arkansas River. Made by just sweeping the camera and letting it do all the work. Amazing!

I would like to see more snap in the shot. Did you shoot this horizontally or vertically? I would also like to see more foreground. This is the kind of place to go back to monthly or quarterly to capture the changing seasons. Thanks for posting.

Yes, I wish I had taken note of the exact place on the bridge where I made this shot so I could come back and get the exact same shot with the trees greened out. Panorama was swept left to right in landscape orientation. Thanks for the comment.

You will come close next time. Take a picture of where you are standing for future reference. Try portrait and you will be surprised by the difference.

I understand why you are saying try portrait. When I do my own stitching I usually shoot portrait. On this one I zoomed to the field of view I wanted and I was pleased with the detail I got using the short direction of the sensor. Other times and subjects I might not be. To use the automatic (camera done) stitching requires going into the menu and changing the direction of the sweep. I also find it more difficult to perform the sweep without varying up or down when holding the camera in portrait position. I do sincerely appreciate your trying to help.

Thank you. This was chosen picture of the day on another site but hardly got noticed here.
