Ive taken shots from Wiseman View but have not been across the gorge. How hard is it to get to the top of Hawksbill or Tablerock?

Not bad at all. Come in through Gingercake from north. If you want I’ll take you.

I stopped at Wiseman after a trail work day in 2016. I've been back a few times since. This photo was shot at 24mm f/4 from the kit lens 24-105mm f/4 canon lens. The vignetting and chromatic aberration on Table Rock cliff face (left side) are something I need to adjust for when setting up. Is CA accentuated in post processing? Both the photos were taken with the same lens but at different environmental conditions and I see the same green halo on the cliff.

Beautiful gorge/montaine terrains, and a cooperative dramatic sky!
How could an able photographer ask for more?
Really nice job!

Thank you Dave.

I live about 1.5hr drive east of the gorge and plan my trips around sunny weekend forecasts. The summit was the turn around for a hike from Gingercake along Jonas Ridge on the east side of the LGW. There is a trail head off Table Rock Rd which begins a mile long trail to the summit. A quicker route, but we enjoyed some of the other views and features along the ridge hike.

First, thanks for your very gracious offer. Am planning a trip south but have no idea when that may be.
Second, don't know about the "green halo". Didn't see it in any of my images, but it makes me think it helped inspire Jules Verne in basing "Great Eyrie" on the mountain for "Master of the World."
And, yes, these are old photos. Wish I was still as thin.

These are so cool, thanks for sharing them. I have not witness the level of foliage color in your photos but I'm sure one year I'll get lucky. If you are interested I can PM you LG links that have a broad selection of great trail photos and stories.
