In case you've not seen this morning's "Fuji Rumors" lead article:
The French site Phototrend interviewed Fujifilm Managers Shinichiro Udono, Jun Watanabe and Takuya Noguchi at CP+ in Japan.
No mention of anything X-Pro in this interview. Apparently, it's run its course and done its job for Fujifilm.
Thank you, and;
Yabut, I wonder why it was not mentioned in this interview (or, did I just simply miss it?)
I’ll ask them the next time I’m in Tokyo. 😃

FujiFilm distinctions:
* "FUJIFILM X-Pro2 is the only interchangeable lens camera in the world featuring a Hybrid Viewfinder
system that incorporates both optical and electric viewfinders."
http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital_cameras/x/fujifilm_x_pro2/* Only large company making instant film ("Polaroid Originals" was formerly "The Impossible Project")
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Instant_film* One of the handful of companies making medium format digital cameras (the 51.4MP GFX 50S)
https://www.adorama.com/alc/5-best-medium-format-digital-cameras* Currently making 15 types of film (1 B&W, 7 color negative, 4 color reversal, 3 color instant) even more
than Ilford, Kodak, Rollei and Lomography. Only the Austrian company KONO! makes more types of film.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_photographic_films#FUJIFILM* Has a joint venture with Xerox Corp. (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fujifilm* Has operated a subsidiary in Mexico that sells FujiFilm products since 1934. (loc. cit.)
FujiFilm is highly diversified: t's hard to imagine a wind that wouldn't blow some good in
Fuji's direction. It survived competition from cell phones where Eastman Kodak didn't.
I had a Fuji. Great bike.
The Hybrid viewfinder was also incorporated in Fuji’s popular X100 series of premium compacts (the original X100, X100S, X100T and X100F) although those cameras do not feature interchangeable lenses. I have owned and used three variants of X100s at different times. I also owned a Fuji X-T1 and an X-Pro2 as well as two Fuji subcompacts: the X70 and the XF10. I currently own a Fuji X-T2 and two X100s. /Ralph

According to the French website, Phototrend; Google translates a French or Japanese word as "hybrid" (I'm thinkin' it must be the American English word; "mirrorless")

I tried to avoid having UHH Admin move this post to "Links....", by not posting a link ~ but, they did it anyway. While I'll admit that stuff about this little camera company (Fujifilm) is probably not very interesting to the vast majority on UHH; I was hoping it might get a bit more play than it did.
Hey, I am one of the other Fuji users too. Sold my D500 and all Nikon lens and purchased the X-T3. I loved the D500 but not the weight. Now if Tamron would make lens for Fuji’s.
