Then keep your crap in canada Krackhead. Keep your trade, you need us way more than we need you.
Your key phrase is "NO PROBLEM THAT I WAS AWARE OF" the fact is, you are not aware of much. You think you have the right to trash our government and our leaders every day because little Krackhead is upset and crying. Take it to someone who cares. You are a poor representation for canada.

Ok. Now I understand. I don't know anyone in Canada that supports the democrats. Some are not crazy about Trump but they like the democrats even less.

So Krackhead is a rarity in his political lunacy?

Got economics????

Trade balances are determined far more by underlying economic factors and the principal underlying factor is that America is richer than it was under President Barack Obama, and so it is importing more.

Our manufacturing growth contributed to higher..... America’s $2.5 trillion in exports represents a 6.3 percent increase from 2017, which in case you missed it is good. Our imports are higher, which means we have money and are spending it and our dollar is stronger v. the world. Also included in the imports is businesses investing in equipment and parts, many of which are made overseas (see IPhones, as an example).

The power of a trade imbalance depends on what is causing them.

If it’s because we have less money and less belief in the future, if it’s because our dollar crashed, if it’s because we aren’t manufacturing here as we kissed off those jobs via horrible tax policy and horrible rules & regulations, etc., etc., etc., it’s bad.

If it’s because of rising dollars, more money, increased manufacturing here at home, et.al., it’s good.

Wait until September, 2019 when the U.S. changes/fixes drug pricing and the canucks are stuck with either developing their own drugs or paying a true economic price.

Of you’re referring to NAFTA it wasn’t a fair deal. Most of us are glad it’s being redone.

The 30,000 losing their jobs from the GM layoffs....yeah, I imagine they are suffering, or soon will be.

Isn’t it more like 15000?

Also, if we hadn’t bailed out GM they would have properly restructured and very possibly be doing better at this point.

Interestingly, I think they are the single company that was bailed out that hasn’t paid back the U.S. taxpayer (still in the hole by about 11 BILLION).

The bankruptcy default laws here are quite elegant......sadly, we enabled GM’s failed strategy and they they still aren’t even close to right.
