I shot some video on a recent trip and need to send it off. But I shot it vertically and when I play it, it shows horizontally. Is there a fast, easy way to flip it 90 degrees? I don't think I have any actual video software on my computer.

I have a Windows PC. I use Microsoft's Movie Maker to rotate videos.

Never shoot video in vertical format!! There is a reason television and Movies are horizontal. Indeed very early television was vertical then folks figured out that humans have a horizontal vision field.

Well, I've never shot video before, so I didn't know. Live and learn.

Yes! Vertical video is a crime against nature!

So if someone is standing there singing, I do a video in horizontal? I can get a lot closer and get the whole person in the frame in vertical. Oh well. Lessons learned.

If you were only ever to watch on a cellphone you could do that but then go to show it on any other format and you waste two thirds of the screen.

On my laptop using Win 10, hold down CTRL+ALT and use the arrow keys to rotate the screen (I assume it works on my desktop too). Or, you could hold your laptop sideways and watch it in "native" format. It's a real challenge using the touchpad with the screen rotated BTW.

Sorry for the delay. I've been out of country. I'll try that! Thanks.
