Is there ANYONE that can use a color print dark room set up? I inherited it, and can not make use of it, but hate to see it wasted if there's anyone that would like it. Give a yell if you know anyone that could use it.

Another way not to waste your gear is that you can always reuse the enlarger lens/lenses as macro lens on your SLR/DSLR. I converted the lenses on my Durst & Omega enlarger to use on my DSLRs. Good result and investment. The enlarger stand can be used as a copy stand etc....

I have the same problem - I have all this darkroom gear from way back in the 1950s and 1960s. I am nearing 80 and will never in a million years . I would just give it away.

I know what you mean, why not do what I did...I called around to the high schools and colleges in my area, and asked them if they would like my darkroom. Some said they could not use the equipment as they had no photographic department, but others said absolutely yes. I donated mine to a high school that said they teach film first and then go into digital later. That a good foundation in film was a precurser to digital. And, I was also able to deduct a sum as a charitable donation.
BTY, I had a complete Besseler darkroom.

Perhaps students majoring in Photojournalism at the college level might be interested in wet chemistry photography. Just a thot.

I gave away all my darkroom equipment since not even the local college wanted it (they wanted digital printers, etc.) Shipped it all the Colorado and the person paid shipping. I held onto the enlarger (too big to ship) in the hope I can find someone local who may want it (color enlarger, halogen head, etc.)

Northern NJ. To ship the enlarger (Beseler Dichro 67 ) with the power supply, etc. would have been well >$50 and no local interest
