Front Yard Birds Protest Discrimination

OK, the birds in the trees in the front yard say they are discriminated against in favor of the backyard birds.

Here is a House Finch in the tree on the line of my yard and next door out at the curb.
In this one I also found that all these years I have been using "sharpen" wrong in lightroom. Here I used all the correct steps.

Beautiful shot, Jerry. You're certainly doing something right to capture a portrait like this.

Jerry, excellent sharpness and I really like the photo!!

It really is hard to not like that Canon L 100-400mm lens being hand held by a person who knows how to use it.

Thanks very much.

Yes that is true. I hope to figure out how to use it one of these days instead of just hoping for a minor miracle to strike.

We get the same complaints here.

Nice image. Does the - now I can't think of what it is called on Canon cameras, I keep thinking "VR" but that is Nikon... got it - IS, image stabilization - help?

The front yard birds also want a feeder or two and a birdbath like the backyard birds have.

thanks and yes the IS helps a lot. I use the lens (even with 1.4x) at about 1/400 or down to 1/250 when the light is not great.

Excellent shot. The sharpening is imperceptible, so I think it's very well done.
