Hello everyone. I am retired and decided to get a new hobby. Photography was always something I wanted to get into but lack of time and money kept me from it. Have more time now and maybe a little more money so I jumped in. I purchased some used but like new equipment a while back ( Canon T3, 50mm, 18-55mm, 55-250mm, 550ex speedlight and a tripod.) I have been practicing and getting familiar with everything ( I thought college was tough) and following this forum for a couple of weeks. I have picked up some good information and always looking for ideas and suggestions. I am mainly interested with nature (landscape, wildlife etc.) and I am not sure if I have all the right equipment or what else I might need so suggestions are welcome. I look forward to following this forum. If I can get it to load I will include a picture that I took that all of my grandkids love.
She doesn’t think much of my skills

Welcome to UHH Mr O. Looks like you have a decent starter kit there. Practice with what you have then as you get a little more experience you can think about adding on or upgrading. Right now it's all about learning composition, and exposure triangle (Aperture, ISO & shutter speed). Learning how to work in editing software is also important you'll want to have a decent post processing software and be able to grow in editing skills as well.
again - welcome and look forward to seeing more of your photo's.

Welcome. Have fun. Learning in photography is fun because practicing means taking lots of pictures. And you can throw out as many as you like with no expense involved!
