Rule Number One on this morning shoot near Moab was: "don't get too close to the edge"!
Grace and a friend and fellow model were visiting from China - like many in other parts of the world she is fascinated by the history of the American West. Somewhere she picked up the rather garish headdress...
I have to learn to pay more attention to the background - in the second to last photo the horizon cutting through her head is a little distracting - but SHE obviously distracted me from looking at the geography!
Iām a big fan of western scenics, and she certainly adds interest!
Nice set - I'm sure the cultural appropriations crowd would have something to say about the costume, but she'll have some great photos of her visit.
Actually like the 4th best, not finding it that distracting due to nature of the background and focus on model.
No's 3 and 5 are, in my mind quite nice.
I see a bit of oriental spice, nice indeed.
I think image 4 is the best followed by image 3. Her pose in both of them appears to relaxed and natural, very attractive work.
Nice! Did she take any scalps?
Great photos, professionally done!

What background in the second to last photo (insert grin). Beautiful model portrayed well.

Beautiful shots and a beautiful model! You did her justice. I think I like 4 the best as well for, she looks relaxed and the background is not competing. But I also like the last one, I like the outfit and her pose.
But they are all good. Nice work.
She definitely looks more Asian than Native American. ;)

A question. Was #4 shot after#2?
