I need a driver for a Hewlett Packard hp psc 750 printer

The neighbor's son was given a Hewlett Packard hp psc 750 printer with no driver disc and asked me if I would set it up for him, I said sure. I'll just go on-line and download the driver that I need. Well that's not as easy as I thought. HP doesn't support this model anymore and the sites I found that say they have the download look a little shady to me.
This not being my computer I don't want to download some thing I shouldn't have. So anyone here on UHH recommend a save site to download the correct driver I be grateful.

I just found this, will it work? I don't want to screw anything up: https://hp-driverprint.com/hp-laserjet-2430dtn-driver/

Thanks
Swede

Swede, you might google

hp psc 750 printer driver

There are a number of hits on that. Without you mentioning the OS, it's difficult to say which will work.

Thanks Bob, it's Windows 7, I looked on Google, tried a few of them but they all want to "update all the drivers", that doesn't sound too good to me.

What about that link I added a little after I posted the original.

If you can find an Indian who used to be a taxi driver, they're good in traffic & they're cheap.

HP doesn't even keep an archived site for drivers for their older equipment. So even if you could find a driver that might work for this printer you will have a hard time finding ink cartridges for it. Throw it out, they don't cost that much and it isn't worth the trouble.

If you reread the start of this thread you will see it is not mine, neighbors kid. Ink is easy and cheap through EBAY (and probably other places). And I don't find it any trouble trying to help the kid out!

And I believe HP is in the business of selling new stuff not worrying about their older equipment.

Thanks anyhow

I read all of your post first, I say where the printer came from. You said "And I believe HP is in the business of selling new stuff not worrying about their older equipment". Well that certainly says a lot for their customer support. Good luck.
