Scrub Jay searching for peanuts

I am returning to my images I did just before my computer had to visit the tech.

Another of the Scrub Jays looking in hopes that the crows left some peanuts.
No luck and our friend does not look happy about it.

Nice image of a beautiful bird, Robert. I've never seen or even heard of a Scrub Jay.
They obviously don't mingle with their Blue Jay cousins down here in Alabama !!

Thank you, their west coast cousins.heir territories overlap a little in the Pacific NW where the Blue Jay's territory makes it west of the Rockies.

Jerry, a fantastic photo and the DDL really show how sharp this lens is.

It is a very sharp lens, the only long lens I own that is sharper is my Canon 100-400L mk II.
