We’ve been visiting in the Phoenix area and staying at Legacy Resorts. The grounds are so nicely combined with the desert that the wildlife here is very abundant. Went for a walk after dinner and saw this covey of close to 30 birds. These were the ones I could get close to, and that was still a couple hundred feet. Those birds can sure run fast!

Me too. Used to hunt them with a 20 ga over/under when I was stationed in Tucson, but now I prefer the camera.
