You might consider using the K-5 as a back-up or selling and buying a K-3. The K-1 is pretty awesome.

Actually, I have a few "BACK-UPS", but my preferred one is my Little MONSTER pentax K-S2. It's terrific and I won't part with it. But thanks for the suggestion. .......BOB

K-5 is better in low light. Sure the K-3 is 24MP but sucks at high ISOs. I own one of each camera.
