My dearly beloved Kentucky Wildcats won again last night, beating the hated Missouri Tigers, taking their record to 22-4 and increasing their odds for a #1 seed in one of the NCAA brackets.

Perhaps this team also deserves applause.
UCLA: established in 1919, the program has won a record 11 NCAA titles. Coach John Wooden led the Bruins to 10 national titles in 12 seasons, from 1964 to 1975, including seven straight from 1967 to 1973. UCLA went undefeated a record four times (1964, 1967, 1972, and 1973). Coach Jim Harrick led the team to another NCAA title in 1995.

That is one fine team. And, my Michigan Wolverines and MSU Spartans aren't doing so bad either. Should be a fun March Madness this year!!

Your joy will be short lived as the blue devils from Duke will win it all!🧐

Get back with me when Duke has 63 post season appearances, 54 NCAA tournament appearances, 41 sweet sixteen appearances, 36 elite 8 appearances, 17 final 4 appearances and 12 finals appearances.

Currently DUKE is a mere 122 games behind all time and UCLA a mere 388 behind.

I am pleased to say that my Alma mater, NC State, stopped UCLA’s winning streak in 1974 when I graduated and we won the National Championship - I had classes with most of the players and knew them well. Sadly, except for one more time, we have not played at that level nationally since (and I still have a little hope), but UNC and Duke have done pretty well since. My hopes are with Duke for a NC championship team this year.

Without UK there would be no DUKE.
