This is my sweet little Bugsy. We took him in when a friend posted a picture of the pathetic starved dog they'd found abandoned in a repo house. They were going to euthanize him because he was in such bad shape. I told them that I'd take him and give him a chance. Hubby was gone on travel at that time, and we had promised no more dogs, (we had 4) so I looked into finding him a rescue to go to once we got him stabilized (he weighed 8 lbs when he was found....should have weighed 15. He passed drywall for 3 days, he'd been eating the walls to try to survive.) In 48 hours a boston terrier rescue had a foster lined up for him....but in that same 48 hours he had me firmly wrapped around his furry little paw. He went to work with me every day. Loved everybody, and was a sweet kind soul. We lost him in '15. Still miss his cute little smooshy face.
You did a wonderful thing and he rewarded you many fold.

Aw...what an adorable little fellow and I know how hard it is when we lose them, even if it's been years
What a wonderful thing you did by taking him in, and they do have a way of wrapping themselves around our hearts. Thank you for sharing your story with us and sharing little Bugsy with us ♥
