Very good travel photos which are difficult because you must use the light available at the time at each location I agree Tauck is an excellent tour company. I've taken 11 trips with them.

Gruyères is a town in the district of Gruyère in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. The medieval town is an important tourist location in the upper valley of the Saane/Sarine river, and gives its name to Gruyère cheese. The medieval town is located at the top of 82 metre-high hill overlooking the Saane valley and the Lake of Gruyère. It is a short drive from Montreaux (home of the Jazz Festival) and has some great restaurants specializing in cheese fondeau. Enjoy - we loved the fondeau!

it's a beautiful place, mark. I enjoyed all the beautiful shots and especially the first scenic one with
the cows on the hillside.

Glad you enjoyed them MT. Those cows are the source of the delicious Gruyere cheese!

A fine set of images captured in Gruyere. Years ago I was on a tour of European countries which included Switzerland; however, Gruyere was not on the agenda, so I was glad to have this glimpse.
