We usd to finger this guy eating out of the deer trays we put out. Their were 4 of them but he was the only one who came for the food. We started putting out chicken parts for him and if we didn't get them out before he came he would come to the door and look for us.
Great pic. That's how we got our cat. But he used to sit on the outside steps and look into our kitchen window.
Great shot and reminds me of a grown rabbit which is waiting for me most mornings at the feeding station, and almost demands that I feed it before I stall filling the feeders!
Nicely done, love the framing effect with the door panes.
Just looking at his face, he doesn't look all that wild...fantastic shot! What was his reaction when you opened the door?
He just stood their until I handed him his chicken, then he turned and ran with it. He was 1 of 4 living under my shed but he was the only one taking the food, I believe he was feeding the others.

Looks like your going to have a friend for life!
He has started traveling but always returns.

When my Wife and I moved to a residential neighborhood 10 years ago, I started taken peanuts out to the backyard to feed the squirrels and birds. One day, as I was putting the peanuts on a table in the yard, as I turned around, 2 deer were standing 10 feet behind me waiting for me to walk back to the house.
I found out later, people in the neighborhood always put out food for the deer. The deer know it's a safe place to eat handouts. I know it's not a good idea to feed wild animals but these deer aren't all that wild, they let you walk within 10 feet of them.
I used to post a lot of pictures on this forum of deer in my back yard. When a wild animal wants a handout every now and then...how can anyone resist?
I love the Foxes and feed mine regularly as well......they are so pretty.
