Back in the fall I bought 2 new lenses this is one of them, a Sigma 56mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens for Sony E.

Because I have Post Polio Syndrome I did not get to shoot it until last week or so, So I took it out for some test shots playing around with it and let me tell you I'm impressed with this lens, it's a keeper.

it will hang with the big boy's, one of the best lenses I have ever owned and let me tell you I have owned a bunch of them over the years.

It's made for the Sony crop sensor camera but I have shot it on my Sony full frame with great results.

So here are a few with it where I was playing around with it. Most shots are wide open or near that and on a cloudy day.

Hope you use the downloads and enjoy!!!!

Can't wait for spring.

Beautiful shots of all with your Sigma 56, Johnny, and of course my favorites are always going to be dogs or birds in any set...so your beautiful pooch wins the blue ribbon from me!!

Your shots are super. I have the exact same lens in 30mm size and it's the best thing I have for my A6000. It stays on the camera.

Ron thank you so much, I also have the 30mm another wonderful lens by Sigma, I use it for landscapes and street shooting mostly, also on my a6000.
