Yes, I did

Smaller packages sent through FedEx are sometimes handled by Smartpost which uses the USPS to deliver packages. Have you checked your mailbox for the package marked "delivered"? If a USPS carrier left it in your mailbox, it would be marked "delivered."

Tracking says one was refused, the other delivered. I would not complain about it being a couple days late

The delivery day is not "supposed to be", but "estimated". Read the fine print!
Weather, traffic, truck availability - any number of things can postpone delivery.
I find a little patience makes life much more enjoyable.

Finally decided to buy a new D750 from B&H, ordered on Thursday evening, was shipped in two packages was supposed to be delivered Monday, it wasn't . Tracking says one package containing the spare battery was delivered, it WASN'T. (at least not to me) Tracking also says the other package was refused. It wasn't by me. Furthermore, tracking says it was refused in Pittsburgh, my address is NOT Pittsburgh
I called B&H and they say they can do nothing until it gets back to them, IF it gets back to them. I cannot find a number for FedEx
B&H also says they will refund my card when the camera gets back to them, but what about the package they say is delivered, I know of no way I can prove I did not receive it.
I also reviewed my order on B&H,s web site and the address IS correct

Fortunately, I live within several miles of a FedEx depot and an UPS depot. I ALWAYS have any photography equipment I ordered to the depot who is delivering, eliminates porch thieves!

I just recently had a couple little "issues" with B&H/FedEx(mostly FedEx).

When I purchased my Tamron 70-300 mm lens at the beginning of this month, eeregarding delivery, it said, "A signature IS (not may BE required) for delivery. The delivery was two days earlier than FedEx said it would be(great)!
However, I was there WHEN the package was delivered, and not only did the driver NOT bother to get a signature, he NEVER even KNOCKED on the door to see if I was there, but just LEFT my package by the door!

Since there had RECENTLY been a news story saying be careful of porch pirates in OUR area, and I was EXPECTING my package to be safely signed for upon delivery, I called B&H, and "reminded" them of their own statement regarding delivery, and was told" it is up to the delivery driver whether or not a signature is required.

So I called FedEx, who immediately tried to blame B&H, saying THEY are the ones who determine whether the delivery is signed for!
I told him what the B&H rep had told me, and that I did NOT appreciate the run around! To call B&H to get it resolved WHO requires the signature! I told him that if it IS up to the driver, I could not understand the CARELESSNESS of ANY driver who would NOT require a signature, in light of the recent news story about porch pirates. I also told him that I had been told by a US Postal Service worker, that these thieves are FOLLOWING delivery trucks and then stealing the packages just after they are delivered!

So when I received the customer service survey regarding this call to B&H about this delivery, I again reminded them of their delivery statement about delivery requiring a signature, and the neccessity of that actually HAPPENING. I soon received an email from them, making it sound like I was complaining that it DOES require a signature. I called yesterday, and told them they need to READ the survey more carefully! The gentleman I talked to in the phone, proceeded to say what the customer service rep did that I talked to on the phone last week, exactly OPPOSITE of what the email I had just received said! I told him that, and said which is it?

I've been happy with their customer service before, fortunately I DID receive the lens, and live it, and if I order from them against, will do so by phone, and will tell them to write on the package, "SIGNATURE REQUIRED, NO EXCEPTION! If they will NOT do this, I will CANCEL that order, AND let them know there will be NO future orders from me.

Sorry for the long message, just wanted to let you know what my experience was with this.

I wouldn't blame the store. Give this another week to shake out. Hopefully these orders required a signature, and if you didn't sign for it, they will probably make good.

Steve,
You're probably right. I have been happy with B&H customer service and I think their product quality and prices are great!

I had a similar problem with bbq parts. Contact your credit card company. That’s how I got my money back for items I never received. The parts company resisted but lost. Worth a try. Good luck.

THAT is the best suggestion. Your Credit Card Company is the key. Never use a Debit Card for this kind of purchase; the banks do not have the same attention to a problem with a Debit Card.

Once had a Fed Ex package lost for more than a year. They had delivered it to the wrong person at the wrong address and it got shoved in a locker that no one opened for a year. FedEx claimed it delivered to the right address. A year later a guy called us and said he had found this Fed Ex package in his locker when he was cleaning it out. It was a bit package with $25,000 worth of jewelry in it. Fed Ex would do nothing. I ran over to Dalllas and got the package. Sure makes me like UPS. And insurance. The facility where Fed Ex delivered the package was within a block of the Fed Ex facility. Scary.

My son ordered a gun on line. Fed Ex left it lying in the driveway. I'm sure a signature should have been required but they didn't even come to the door.

We live 25 miles out in the country. It is amazing how many times Fed Ex will not come through the gate
and down our 1/4-mile lane to where we are.
Regular Fed Ex is good. Fed Ex ground not so good. Fed Ex home is horrible.

Never had an issue with B&H in decades of use. Get your credit card to put a hold or inquiry on the amount. Probably a FEDEX problem. They are far less reliable than UPS.

My feeling that B&H will try to correct the problem but Fed-Ex doesn't care.
