I have a friend who always asks for "just half a cup" when asked if he would like a cup of coffee. I finally found a cup just for him.

Some years back, I had an "inventor" come to me with his great invention, a left handed potato peeler. Perhaps I did a disservice to all of the lefties of the world by not filing a patent application for him.

Years ago, living in an apt in DC suburbs while stationed at the Pentagon, neighbors nxt door, wife was a Brit. On one of our early social visits getting acquainted, she served coffee. At abt the halfway point in my cup, she asked if I cared for more. I replied that just warm it up for me. She took my cup into the kitchen, emptied into a small pot, heated it up, and returned it to me. I of course thanked her. As far as I could tell, she was not a blonde.
My apologies to all our Brit Hoggers!
She just was unfamiliar with some American idioms.

If you have a cup/mug with a message, day"Greatest Dad", and when it's facing you when held in the right hand, then it's a left handed cup, as the message is meant to inform others, nd should be facing away from you.( You already know you're the greatest dad)

Everybody is born right handed; some of us overcome it.
