Sunflower....yes or no?

Trying to post a few of my pictures just to get some feedback! Any thoughts on this one?

Lighting looks flat to me. A fill light might help, and the angle seems odd. In my mind I see sunflowers as more yellow.

I thought it looked a little flat. I can't retake the picture since the sunflower is gone now but I will try to do some editing in pse10. I actually wanted the strange angle but does it make it look bad?

Your welcome, I just play at PS till the pix looks right. I much prefer to get it close in the camera. Comes from shooting slides for 50 years.

That's what I'm working on is getting it right with camera and not using auto!! I have some butterfly pix if u get a chance to look at them & comment/critique. Lights out for me.

I don't think the angle is bad. Unusual angles make it an interesting picture. What I would change is to either include the whole flower or crop it closer. These are just my opinion. You are the artist on this one. :)

I agree, good angle, but show more or crop more. As it is, it looks like you cut off the edges by mistake.

The sunflower is fine with some slight edits on it. I also did one a complete change in background which I thinks makes a great improvement. I still left it as a sky but one that was a darker blue and more clouds. If you would like to see it let me know and I will post with your permission.
