Bridges across the mighty Ohio river.. The first one, has architectural lighting after dark. The local TV station uses shots of it under lights as a backdrop for opening the evening news.. I will get a shot of it after dark, probably this summer. Bengals stadium is framed under it...
the last 2 are the same railroad bridge across the river at Louisville, Ky. The last one shown with a train on it, And Louisville in the backdrop... The train depicts the massive size..

The Sainte-Anne Canyon....strangely tourists are sent to the Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre to the basilica there but 15 minutes east of there is this awesome canyon....but they just don't make it there
Two bridges for the price of one................. There is a "low water" plank bridge just underwater where the road crosses the river. When the water is lower the bridge is visible. Used every day in low water days by local residents that live on this dead-end road. Save mileage driving downstream to the state-maintained bridge.
Some very interesting bridges to view. Here are 2 views, 2 different seasons of the Casco Bay Bridge connecting Portland with South Portland, ME I especially liked the way the curve in the clouds matched the lines of the bridge.
I'm sure some folks looking at these few pictures will recognize the location. These were taken at Glenwood Canyon which is a rugged, scenic 12.5 mile canyon that follows the Colorado River on Interstate 70 (I-70) in Colorado. It's one of the most expensive rural highways per mile ever built in the United States. It was completed on October 14,1992. Along that stretch of highway there are 40 bridges, viaducts and miles of retaining walls. Needless to say.....we love driving through Glenwood Canyon! Bob
A few minutes after posting this.....I decided to add 3 more pictures. It's 12:40 AM so maybe no one will notice my interruption!

It looks like they told the engineers and designers to go ahead and use their imaginations - I've never seen anything like this! Thanks so much for sharing!
