This is a good photo. I like both versions.

Try moving the orange and red sliders to the right. Did you already dehaze?

I haven't touched the photo since I submitted it, but hope to play with it more later today. Thanks.

I'm no great shake at PP work. But when I try BW conversions, I've learned to do whatever contrast work is needed on the sky before doing the conversion. I've never been successful using layers, but the control points in Silver Eflex is pretty simple. The problem with them is that the area is always round. Sometimes that just doesn't fit the need.

The fact that the control points in Nik Silver Effects are round can be problematic. It would be nice if the user could manipulate the shape. To get around that, I've found that by using several smaller control points in a given area seems to work out just ok. Too bad we can't have everything to our liking. Oh well. Thank you for your input. Ken.

Well, thank you. So many people have given me positive free back when I thought the photo was just so-so.
